We Have the Internet
We Have the Internet is a stage play exploring the state and absurdities of online culture in the year of our great Flying Spaghetti Monster, 2017.
It features four vignettes with interweaving characters and focuses on the topics of false memory, online dating, militant feminism and unchecked power in the hands of forum moderators.
If you're curious, you can download the script here (if you'd like to stage the play, please let me know using the 'get in touch' button below).
It was written, directed and produced by myself (under the pen name 'Horatio Duke') and a close creative partner of mine, Tamara Al Bassam.
It was staged at the Bell Street United Church in Shaftesbury as part of the Shaftesbury Fringe Festival 2017 and starred:
- Sheraz Yousef
- Agheliki Kallianteri
- Dominic Kiraly
- Horatio Duke
- Tamara Al Bassam
All puppets were lovingly hand-made by Tamara Al Bassam.
We were not asked to return.
